We are a dynamic IT and technology consulting firm delivering innovative solutions across industries. For this role, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join one of our client teams in the petroleum sector. The successful person will be embedded in a high-performing squad comprising Developers, Business Analysts, and other specialists.
To lead and manage the delivery of complex IT projects within a cross-functional agile squad. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that project objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget, while aligning with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
What you'll do:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full lifecycle.
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure squad alignment.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and deliverables.
- Track progress and report on project status to internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with client governance and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the squad.
Your Expertise:
- 8+ years of project management experience in IT/Tech environments.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with clients in the petroleum, energy, or industrial sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.
- Experience in digital transformation or software development projects.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setups.
