Senior Project Manager

SUMMARY:
A 12 month contract position available with an Financial Institute in the Centre of Pretoria for a Senior Project Manager The purpose of this position is to provide overall support to the BSTD in planning, managing projects, budget, resources to ensure successful delivery of strategically aligned project within the programme and portfolios.

POSITION INFO:

Delivery of project in accordance with BSTD PM Processes and PMBOK guidelines for integration, scope, time, cost, quality, procurement, HR, communication, stakeholder and risk management across the full lifecycle of the project.

Manage project resources and delivery of outputs.

Manage project budget.

Define plan, schedule and acceptance criteria.

Quality control and compliance to specifications.

Manage risks, issues and constraints.

Stakeholder management, communication and reporting at project level

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a Certified Project, Project Management qualification; and a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in managing project in large organisations. A minimum experience in Core banking solutions and/or supply chain management implementations is required.

The following will be an added advantage:

Professional Project Management Certification

A thorough understanding of the ten knowledge areas contained in the Guide to Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and / or Prince II

Experience with IT Operations projects is essential

Understanding of IT Service Continuity
