SUMMARY:
Our Gauteng based client seeks the services of an established Senior Project Manager to perform project portfolio management and resource capacity planning.

POSITION INFO:

Project Portfolio Management and Resource Capacity Planning
Determine and define project scope and objectives and Resource Utilisation Management
Track project costs in order to meet budget and Leading project planning sessions
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively & efficiently
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Project Cost Management to meet Project Budget Expectations
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plans for all projects
Ensuring projects meet deadlines, Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, tools, and standards throughout the project life cycle
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Participating in tender process i.e., Scope, Time & Cost estimation, review and submission
Project Risk Management, Managing large and diverse teams

Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor''s degree in computer science, business, or a related field, 5-8 years of project management and related experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred and Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Excellent analytical skills and Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
