Senior Project Manager (I)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

A client within the industrial services industry is looking for a Senior Project Manager who would be responsible for planning, overseeing and implementing projects in a timely fashion and within budget. 

12 Month Contract - Remote until further notice
Preferably Gauteng Based

 

Qualification:

• Degree / Diploma is advantageous
• Prince 2 or equivalent, PMBOK, agile or scrum related

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 15 years'' experience in a project manager role
• Knowledgeable on a wide variety of business regulation and business processes
• High communication Skills

 

Reporting into the ICT Manager, the Project Manager would be responsible for:

• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and manage the project within these requirements
• Track project costs to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Ensure multiple projects are integrated and wherever possible have no duplications
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement, and implement these
