A client within the industrial services industry is looking for a Senior Project Manager who would be responsible for planning, overseeing and implementing projects in a timely fashion and within budget.Â

12 Month Contract - Remote until further notice
Preferably Gauteng Based

Qualification:

Degree / Diploma is advantageous
Prince 2 or equivalent, PMBOK, agile or scrum related

Skills and experience:

Minimum 15 years'' experience in a project manager role
Knowledgeable on a wide variety of business regulation and business processes
High communication Skills

Key Accountabilities:

Â

Reporting into the ICT Manager, the Project Manager would be responsible for:

Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and manage the project within these requirements
Track project costs to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Ensure multiple projects are integrated and wherever possible have no duplications
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Monitor progress and adjust as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement, and implement these
