Senior Provincial Finance Officer/Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:

POSITION BASED IN CAPE TOWN - SALARY R60 000 CTC

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. 

Prospective applicants should meet the following requirements:

Relevant finance related degree/diploma required

Minimum of seven years’ experience in a financial environment with at least three at management level

Excellent communication and writing skills

Willing to work long and irregular hours

Proven record of initiative, problem solving, and the ability to recognize and implement

improvements to systems

Excellent organizational abilities

Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in more than one language advantageous

Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and an Accounting system

An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
