POSITION INFO:

Senior Purchasing Officer – Production
Location: East Rand
Salary: R500 000 – R800 000CTC
Minimum Requirements:
ï‚· Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing/ Supply Chain or related
ï‚· 7 years experience in bulk commodity buying from a production environment, preferably
petrochemical
ï‚· Knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP

Duties:
ï‚· Strategic sourcing
ï‚· Bulk commodity buying
ï‚· Ensure procurement targets are met
ï‚· Evaluate suppliers
ï‚· Negotiating with Suppliers
ï‚· Contract price analysis
ï‚· Forecast
ï‚· Management of operational buying
