Duties:

• Plan, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Lead QA efforts across the SDLC, ensuring full test coverage for new features and system enhancements.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, BAs, product owners) to understand product requirements and ensure effective test coverage
• Identify, log, and track defects, assisting development teams in root cause analysis and resolution.
• Ensure that releases meet strict quality benchmarks before deployment.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide insights and improvements where needed.
• Contribute to the evolution of QA standards, tools, and processes across the team.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA/Testing accreditation (advantageous).

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in an automation-focused role.
• Proven experience in working with complex, enterprise-grade systems in a dynamic Agile or DevOps environment.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Cypress.
• Experience in testing APIs, microservices, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure preferred).

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Advanced skills in writing SQL queries for data validation
• Proficient in scripting or coding in Java, C#, or JavaScript for automation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for identifying edge cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement.
