Contract QA Engineer role - Edinburgh - C#
POSITION INFO:
Senior QA Engineer contract - 6 months - Edinburgh - via an Umbrella company
A well-known, growing company in Edinburgh is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join their team for a six-month contract to working across one of their new cloud-based products.
You would be working in an Agile environment to understand and refine the testing requirements, and develop and own the testing for this product, which will mainly be automated web-based testing.
You will have most of the following skills/experience:
**Automation testing, particularly across web-based applications
**Experience with cloud-based product (ideally Azure)
**C# for automation testing purposes
**Ideally exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular etc.
**BDD testing framework, such as Cucumber
**API testing
**Github
**Docker
**PostgreSQL
The rate on offer is £450 - £470 per day, but you will be required to work through an umbrella company for this role.
This is an opportunity to own the testing function and be part of the development lifecycle from specification to delivery.
