SUMMARY:
A well-established Agricultural company requires the above to implement and manage the processes and internal policies related to regulatory compliance and registration as well as implementing the Globally Harmonized System specifications to the MSDS and product label process.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a BSc Degree in Agriculture or Chemistry
AVCASA would be an added advantage
Must have completed GHS competency training
5 years’ relevant experience in the agrochemical regulatory and product development environment is essential
A comprehensive understanding of the product registration requirements and process will be required
Must have demonstrated competency with implementing GHS
Knowledge of crops and the crop protection environment and/or working knowledge of analytical chemistry would be ideal

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Ensuring all new sources and formulators are registered and documented.
Liaising with procurement to ensure alignment with registration requirements.
Facilitating the process of obtaining data such as five batch analysis, method of analysis and six pack studies.
Evaluating and validating data to ensure that it meets regulatory standards.
Maintaining the data base and master data with up to date information.
Providing compliance support to all other departments within the company with Respect to Waste Management Act, Rotterdam Convention, Reach, PIC etc.
Ensuring confidentiality agreements and contracts related to product sources are subject to appropriate legal review.
Compiling and providing accurate source data for inclusion in registration dossiers.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
