About the Role
The Senior Relationship Manager will lead relationship development with corporate and financial institutional clients, combining business growth with prudent risk management. You’ll drive client engagement, structure solutions, and ensure disciplined credit and risk oversight, positioning the branch for long-term success.
This is a front-facing role with significant responsibility: balancing client needs, regulatory requirements, and commercial growth. You’ll also guide junior staff and help shape departmental policies and workflows.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients.

Develop marketing materials and support client acquisition activities.

Perform due diligence and KYC checks in line with regulatory standards.

Identify opportunities for deposit growth, lending, and cross-selling of branch products.

Conduct financial and credit analysis; prepare financing applications.

Monitor credit exposures, risk ratings, and post-lending performance.

Escalate deteriorating assets, breaches, or adverse developments promptly.

Prepare market and client analysis reports for management.
-
Contribute to departmental policy and process development.

Mentor and guide junior colleagues in the Business Development Department.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

3+ years’ relationship management experience in banking (Chinese bank experience advantageous).

Strong skills in financial and credit analysis, risk management, and judgment under complexity.

Proficiency with MS Office; exposure to Bloomberg or similar platforms advantageous.

Fluency in English; Chinese language skills a plus but not required.

Commercial drive balanced by integrity, discipline, and attention to regulatory compliance.
