Senior Reservationist position available in Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:
Senior Reservationist - JHB Mid Career (2 - 4 yrs exp) Key Duties and Responsibilities: Building trust, credibility and goodwill with clients and guests Prioritising timely and accurate responses to reservation enquiries Mastering reservation software systems for accuracy Managing bookings from enquiry to payment Efficiently handling phone and email correspondence Providing accurate information to guests Controlling and maximising occupancy levels Cross- and up-selling where appropriate Confirming all guaranteed bookings Following up proactively on provisional bookings Processing cancellations and amendments Resolving guest complaints and maintaining communication with properties Managing yield by maximising rates and profitability Co-ordinating rate distribution and organising site inspections Ongoing monitoring of booking movements and competitor activity Acting as a brand ambassador for the Company Requirements: Industry Experience: Luxury Travel Reservations Software Knowledge: Semper advantageous Minimum 5 years experience in inbound reservations Strong understanding of OTA management Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Qualifications: Higher Certificate in Travel & Tourism Sectors: Luxury Travel, Hospitality, Lodges Apply Now to be our Senior Reservationist and make a positive impact!
