Senior Resident Engineer (Civil)

SUMMARY:
A well-known consulting engineering company with offices in South Africa and in Africa, requires the full-time services of an experienced and professionally ECSA registered Civil Engineer for the position of Senior Resident Engineer with strong experience in Road Rehabilitation.
This is an on-site contract position in Pretoria - 12 months contract, possibly renewable.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:
This will be night work and will involve localized patching and overlay of the entire carriageway.

Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a BEng, BSc or B Tech in Civil Engineering degree.
Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist (PrEng or Pr Tech Eng)
Valid driver's license essential
Must be willing to travel, and medically fit to work on construction sites.

Experience
Must have a minimum of 10+ years’ site experience on similar road rehabilitation projects as a Senior RE.
Experience with asphalt overlays is essential.
