SUMMARY:
Our client in the Stainless Steel industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Senior Risk Control Practitioner in the Middleburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum qualification NADSAM (National Diploma in Safety Management)
3 years’ working experience as a safety/risk officer (Essential)
Knowledge of the OHS Act/COIDA and ISO 14001
Knowledge of the Columbus Stainless SHE management system and operations will be an advantage (Desired)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications is important.
Good communication skills needed as they will interact with management and employees
Physical fitness will be required
Must be able to work independently and in a team

KPAs:

Reduce number of injuries
Attends Departmental Safety Meetings
Maintains SHE Systems
SHE Audits and Investigation of Incidents and accidents
Reviewing of Occupational and Safety Risks
Ensure that personnel attended Safety Induction Training
Promote safety awareness
Maintains Adherence to Environment Legal Requirements
Maintains Occupational Health
Maintain Emergency preparedness
PPE Quality Control
Legal Compliance
Monitor outstanding SHE actions/Electronic system
Adhoc SHE Projects
