Our client in the manufacturing industry based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is currently looking to employ Senior Risk Control Practitioner (EE)

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification National Diploma in Safety Management
• 3 years’ working experience as a safety/risk officer (Essential)
• Knowledge of the OHS Act/COIDA and ISO 14001
• Knowledge of the SHE management system and operations will be an advantage (Desired)
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications is important.
• Good communication skills needed as they will interact with management and employees
• Must be able to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities:

• Reduce number of injuries
• Attends Departmental Safety Meetings
• Maintains SHE Systems
• SHE Audits and Investigation of Incidents and accidents
• Reviewing of Occupational and Safety Risks
• Ensure that personnel attended Safety Induction Training
• Promote safety awareness
• Maintains Adherence to Environment Legal Requirements
• Maintains Occupational Health
• Maintain Emergency preparedness
• PPE Quality Control
• Legal Compliance
• Adhoc SHE Projects
• Mentoring and Coaching across the business
• Monitor outstanding SHE actions/Electronic system
