POSITION INFO:

Our client in the manufacturing industry based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is currently looking to employ Senior Risk Control Practitioner (EE)

Requirements:

Minimum qualification National Diploma in Safety Management
3 yearsâ€™ working experience as a safety/risk officer (Essential)
Knowledge of the OHS Act/COIDA and ISO 14001
Knowledge of the SHE management system and operations will be an advantage (Desired)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications is important.
Good communication skills needed as they will interact with management and employees
Must be able to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities:

Reduce number of injuries
Attends Departmental Safety Meetings
Maintains SHE Systems
SHE Audits and Investigation of Incidents and accidents
Reviewing of Occupational and Safety Risks
Ensure that personnel attended Safety Induction Training
Promote safety awareness
Maintains Adherence to Environment Legal Requirements
Maintains Occupational Health
Maintain Emergency preparedness
PPE Quality Control
Legal Compliance
Adhoc SHE Projects
Mentoring and Coaching across the business
Monitor outstanding SHE actions/Electronic system
