• B. Com Accounting Degree
• Post Grad Degree in Risk & Compliance

Skills and Experience:

• 5 years’ experience in a financial, controlling or similar environment.
• Experience in audit environment with a strong focus on internal controls
• Experience in enterprise risk management
• Experiencing in developing and managing control documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

Job description:

•  Ensure all controls for Finance environment are in place and actively monitored
• Assist Principal Specialist, ERM & Insurance in risk management activities
• Assist Finance with various management reports
• Assist all departments within Finance with continuous improvement projects and actions
• Provide assistance and advise to Finance departments as and when required on risk, compliance and controls
• Manage Finance policies and procedures database including update thereof
• Monitor compliance to relevant policies and procedures.
• Review and audit all contracts applicable to areas within Finance
• Conduct control self-assessments in the Finance environment on high risk areas
• Establish a control database and actively manage it
• Do checks on various customer/vendor reconciliations and identify gaps
• Review Payroll controls on continuous basis
• Do regular GL recon review and manage recon control lists of various areas within Finance
• Assist in implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes and monitor controls throughout the implementation process
• Pro-actively identify possible segregation of duties concerns
• Monitor different KPI’s for exceptions
• Continuously report on control gaps and improvements throughout the area
