Senior SCCM Engineer

SUMMARY:
Datacentrix in Western Cape is looking for a Senior SCCM Engineer to provide cloud infrastructure, datacenter software and end-user computing support with a focus on SCCM.

POSITION INFO:

Required qualification and experience:

• Matric & related IT qualification
• Microsoft Operating System Support – All Server platforms
• 10 + years’ experience supporting datacentre in:
• SCCM/SCOM
• Hyper-V
• Microsoft Exchange
• Active Directory
• DNS and DHCP
• MSSQL
• SAN Storage (would be advantageous)
• Enterprise Antivirus
• Enterprise Backup
• File and Print services
• Change Management
• Group Policy
• 
  Valid Drivers License and own vehicle

• Provide 3rd line datacentre support and escalations from 2nd line support engineers
• Preventative maintenance  (Patch management)
• Technologies include but not limited to:
• Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, Google cloud
• Virtualisation: VMware  vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV
• Citrix Virtualisation
• Application Delivery Controllers: F5, Citrix, FortiADC
• Operating Systems: All Microsoft & Linux
• MS infrastructure: Active Director, Exchange, SQL, SCCM
• Backups: Veeam, Backup Exec
• Monitoring: N-Central, SCOM, PRTG, WhatsUp, Solarwinds, Nagios, Quest
• Antivirus: McAfee, ESET, Symantec, Kaspersky
• Remediate issues identified by audit and monthly reporting
