Salary is negatiable based on experience and listed requirements.

My client based in Pretoria is looking for a Senior SHEQ Consultant, this is a 12 month contract with a 3 month probationary period. There is a possibility that the contract can turn into a permanent role.

General:

Responsible for tailor made service to clients who require implementation, assistance and/ or maintenance of safety, health, environmental, food safety and quality systems.
Provide support to the junior consultants in promoting a positive Health & Safety culture and working towards continual SHEQ improvements.
Ensure to obtain professional, cost-effective health, safety, environmental, quality and food safety consulting services to improve process performance, enhance company image, as well as assisting in eliminating the risk of legal non-compliance.
Ensure Professional Facing client approach
Ensure to identify the actions within each process, and document potential hazards utilising a risk framework, to determine the inherit controls.
Ensure to offer comprehensive SHEQ related solutions and focus on providing personal and specialised services to meet every client’s specific needs.
Understand the ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ISO 14001:2014, EMS, ISO 45001:2018 OHS-MS and other standards such as FSSC/ISO 22000:2018, ISO 31000 and ISO 27001 will be advantageous. The minimum level is an Implementer or Internal Auditor of each standard.
Comprehensive understanding of documenting:
- Policies (linked to legal requirements, standards, and codes)
- System Level (Mandatory) Procedures
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Excellent Skills in Process Flows using Visio.
- Work Instructions
- Risk Assessment
- Standardising Forms
- Presentations on Power Point
Able to conduct Awareness Sessions
Able to Conduct Strategic Top Management Sessions.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required:

Experience in SHEQ industry
Able to demonstrate ability to collaborate with all levels of support services to ensure delivery deadlines are met
Driver’s License
4 to 8 years experience in related role
