SUMMARY:
Senior SOC Analyst required to join a well-established public sector company, on a 6-month contract that has been determined to be outside IR35.
POSITION INFO:
IT Security Senior SOC Analyst required to join a well-established public sector company, on a 6-month contract that has been determined to be outside IR35. The company are based in Edinburgh but are offering remote working and a rate of £400-£425 per day.
The role itself will consist of helping with the development of the Security Operations Centre as the company goes through a large scale digital transformation, where they are moving their IT systems from on prem to the cloud. On top of this you will also act as a point of contact for the junior analysts within the security team as well as help with the development of the SOC''s internal reporting capabilities.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong security background and have previous experience working within a leadership role. You will also have experience working within an Agile environment, as well as having a solid understanding on a range of security network principles.
Key Skills/Experiences:
** Experience creating and operating Cyber Security Incident Response
** Experience monitoring KPI''s
** Responding to security threats/alerts
** Providing support to Junior Analysts within the team
