PBT Group has an opportunity for a MS SQL DBA with 5+ years of relevant experience who would be responsible for maintaining and administering multiple organisation''''s databases.

Duties:

Database maintenance including building of indexes, scheduled jobs, clearing locks, space management and back-ups
Maintain backups and restore databases
Maintain database access
Database restore, deployment and structural changes
Implement data change requests
Performance tuning
Assist with the writing of T-SQL code
Configuring and management High-Availability Databases
Define and document database standards and processes

Experience:

In-depth knowledge of MS-SQL, including database replication and preferably SQL Always On.
Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SQL Mirroring, replication and log shipping, management of files and file groups, table archiving and partitioning, SQL DR technologies, SQL backup and restore
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)

Qualifications/ Certification:

A degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration / Commerce or equivalent
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
