Senior Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
A leading manufacturing company in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, is seeking a Senior Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with proven sales experience in technical, construction, or industrial sectors.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include generating new business, managing key client accounts, and driving sales of advanced extraction and ventilation systems, while providing support to operational requirements when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business through client visits, cold calling, and networking.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets (discussed during interview).
• Provide technical product knowledge and solutions to clients.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
• Support operational requirements, including assisting with loading/unloading when necessary.
• Travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and project oversight.
• Maintain accurate reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and opportunities.
• Uphold the company reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.

• Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (preferably in technical, construction, or industrial sales).
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Valid driver’s licence (Code EB advantageous for towing trailers).
• Reliable own vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Hands-on approach – comfortable assisting with operational tasks when required.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally work late.
• No criminal record or history of substance abuse.
