Senior Secretary

SUMMARY:

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for the above-mentioned permanent post in the Faculty of Health Sciences

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Diploma in relevant field (any other qualification/s will be an added advantage)
• 5 years’ experience in a secretarial position in a tertiary environment with knowledge of university processes, policies and systems.
• Evidence of training/working on ITS and other computer programmes

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the office and diary of the Faculty Dean
• Administration of the relevant meetings in the Faculty (agenda compilation, minutes and reports)
• Co-ordinate Human Resource, Budget, Financial and other related administrative functions requested by the Faculty Dean
• Assist with the administration of departments, HOD’s and faculty events and fund-raising activities related to the Faculty Dean
• Assist and support the Faculty Dean with the Academic Programme of the Faculty
• Interact with students of the Faculty at all levels
