POSITION INFO:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Senior Security Analyst - Linux to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. Our client offers great benefits, stability, growth and an attractive salary.

Description

Our client requires a Security Analyst who is certified in Security+ and CEH

Requirements

Security (Certs associated with this are Security+, CEH)
Linux (preferably Red Hat Linux. Understand Linux security and administration)
MS Windows (Windows Server. Understand Windows security and administration)
Basic networking knowledge
Vulnerability Management – Any experience with Nessus (Security Center). Quite an easy tool to learn. Experience not a must but must understand the basics of vulnerability scanning and reporting.
Patch Management

Other skills and good-to-have:

Time management. Deliver reports and projects on time.
Vendor relationship – setting up penetration tests for the business
Project Management – vulnerability results need to be communicated to business / follow ups / tracking for management reporting
