Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Senior Security Analyst - Linux to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. Our client offers great benefits, stability, growth and an attractive salary.

Our client requires a Security Analyst who is certified in Security+ and CEH

Requirements

• Security (Certs associated with this are Security+, CEH)
• Linux (preferably Red Hat Linux. Understand Linux security and administration)
• MS Windows (Windows Server. Understand Windows security and administration)
• Basic networking knowledge
• Vulnerability Management – Any experience with Nessus (Security Center). Quite an easy tool to learn. Experience not a must but must understand the basics of vulnerability scanning and reporting.
• Patch Management

 Other skills and good-to-have:

• Time management. Deliver reports and projects on time.
• Vendor relationship – setting up penetration tests for the business
• Project Management – vulnerability results need to be communicated to business / follow ups / tracking for management reporting
