Senior Security Manager required for one of the world's largest tech companies, based in Edinburgh!
They started as a small team based in Edinburgh and over the years have successfully grown to be one of the largest SaaS platforms in the world, with thousands of people using these products every single day, it is crucial to ensure all data is secured safely and sufficiently.
You will be leading a small, mature team ensuring the team health is strong whilst motivating and encouraging them to perform to the best of their ability. The team will be implementing measures to secure and protect the businesses web and mobile apps and you will take leadership in to resolve any problems; whether that be influencing a roadmap, to addressing a technical security issue ensuring all customers data is securely protected. You will be highly skilled and experienced in managing and motivating a team of security engineers, ideally within product security or application security.
You will have the following Skills/Experience -
** familiar with security tooling such as Burp proxy, Network Scanner, Static Code Analysers
** Strong communication skills to influence and motivate your team
** Strong understanding of a cloud and containers environment (ideally AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
** Experience working within a DevOps environment
They are continuously working on new projects to build up the apps with new tools, so you will constantly be working on new projects to keep it all secure. The salary on offer is circa £110K with a hybrid working model of 2 days a week in the office.
