Senior Server Engineer

POSITION INFO:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Server Engineer with the following skillset to join our team:

• Typical work hours with contingency for after-hours work if and when required, this may be planned work
• Resource must have experience and knowledge on security, patch management and perhaps exposure as an IRT (Incident Response Team) member or being part of a SoC/NoC would be beneficial
• Ability to manage registry entries and or group policies
• Appreciation for ITIL processes specifically change management
• General knowledge of network protocols (SNMP, SMB, TLS, SSL, etc)
• General knowledge of Windows operating systems;
• Patching of hardware (Dell, HP, etc) servers
• Must be a clear communicator, both with technical teams and potentially users
• Organised and ability to plan and schedule work accordingly, this may mean driving or assisting the technical teams
• Very important: Resource must be able to set priorities on workload, this is especially important for demands on the team
