ð Seeking an Engineering Software Powerhouse (Mid/Senior C# Developer). Based in Johannesburg (hybrid optional role). ð

POSITION INFO:
Non Negotiables:

10+ years C# development experience
Deep experience with Windows Forms, MS SQL, and Entity Framework
Ability to manage legacy and modern codebases

ð Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or similar technical field
10+ years professional experience in C# software development

ð ï¸ Requirements:

Full stack C# development (.NET Framework 4.8, .NET Standard 2.0, and .NET 6, 7, and 8)
Windows Forms, Windows Services, WPF & WCF
MS SQL, database design, stored procedures, triggers, and T-SQL scripting
Entity Framework (v6.4+) and LINQ
Telerik for WinForms (advantageous)
RESTful services, WinUI, Xamarin / MAUI (advantageous)
Strong knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms
Familiarity with software engineering best practices: Version control, testing, and SDLC
Ability to write clean, robust, and well-documented code
Conflict management and team collaboration using tools like Trello
Strong communication skills with a focus on accuracy and end-user interaction

ð¯ Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):

Develop and maintain software modules, forms, and database structures
Perform rigorous testing (including negative testing), debugging and optimization
Deliver according to naming conventions, coding standards, and documentation practices
Support and train end-users where necessary
Participate in solution architecture, UI modernization, and workflow optimization
Propose and document enhancements with clear flowcharts and presentations
Provide client-facing support and maintain production software
