Senior Software Java Developer/ Architect/ Lead – Cape Town/ Hybrid – R 1.5m PA

POSITION INFO:

We’re looking for a Senior Java Software Developer to join our fast-paced, agile engineering team. This is your opportunity to lead key features, mentor developers, and drive the architecture of a platform that’s changing how logistics works in Africa.

Requirements:

Backend: Java Spring Boot (GCP) & Serverless (AWS)
Frontend: ReactJS
Mobile: React Native
MultiCloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Cloud Services (AWS)
DevOps: GitHub Actions, Docker, Terraform
Professional software development experience
Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
Design and Architecture experience
Leadership skills
(Bonus) Solid experience with React or modern frontend frameworks
Strong understanding of system architecture, databases, and API design
Experience working in Agile product teams
Solid mentorship and technical leadership skills
Solid GCP and/or AWS experience
