Senior Sponsorship Account Manager

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Sponsorship Sales & Business Development Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities across premium sporting events, digital platforms and media assets. Build and manage a strong pipeline of sponsorship opportunities to achieve annual revenue targets. Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and tailored commercial packages. Present sponsorship opportunities to senior decision-makers and prospective partners. Build long-term relationships with brands, agencies and key commercial stakeholders. Commercial Negotiation Manage the sponsorship sales process from initial engagement through to signed agreements. Negotiate commercial terms and sponsorship contracts. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure commercially sound agreements are concluded. Account Management Manage strategic sponsorship partners throughout the duration of their agreements. Ensure all contractual deliverables are successfully executed. Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for renewals and account growth. Deliver exceptional service and maintain strong long-term client relationships. Sponsorship Activation Coordinate sponsorship activations across events, hospitality, digital and marketing channels. Lead partnership planning sessions with sponsors and internal stakeholders. Deliver premium race day and experiential marketing events for sponsors and prospective partners. Ensure sponsorship commitments are delivered to the highest standard. Strategy & Commercial Growth Monitor sponsorship trends and competitor activity. Identify new commercial opportunities and emerging markets. Develop sponsorship strategies aligned with annual budgeting cycles. Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and commercial reporting. Leadership Lead and mentor junior sponsorship team members. Allocate workloads and ensure commercial commitments are delivered successfully. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture. What We're Looking For Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Sales, Commerce or a related discipline preferred. 8-10 years' experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development or account management. Proven track record of securing new sponsorship revenue and achieving commercial targets. Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements. Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Excellent presentation, proposal writing and negotiation skills. Commercially driven with strong business development capability. Existing network within the sports sponsorship, media or agency environment would be highly advantageous. Previous leadership or team management experience is preferred. Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Sales or a related discipline. Why Apply?
