SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their
team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in structural design, with leadership and project management skills.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

• Proficiency in structural analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000); advanced proficiency preferred for senior roles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork and continuous improvement.

• Develop and review detailed structural designs and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations using advanced software to ensure the integrity and functionality of designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and project managers, to integrate structural designs with overall project goals.
• Manage project workflows, including documentation, revisions, and approvals, with senior engineers overseeing more complex tasks and mentoring junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
