POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Lead and coordinate a structural engineering team through all phases of project delivery
Develop innovative, compliant structural designs for major building and infrastructure projects
Conduct and review structural analysis and modelling using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Excel
Identify potential design risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
Provide expert technical support to clients, design teams, and project stakeholders
Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety
Mentor and develop junior engineers to build strong technical capability across the team
Assist with site-related engineering issues and ensure seamless design implementation

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in structural engineering, ideally on large or complex projects
Sound knowledge of international standards including ACI, AISC, ASCE
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical design abilities
Confident communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Effective leader with strong project management and coordination experience

Qualification:
BEng / BSc / BTech in Civil (Structural) Engineering
Master’s in Structural Engineering – preferred
PR Eng registration

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
