Client in the Gauteng area requires the services of a Senior Structural Engineer as soon as possible

POSITION INFO:

Civil/Structural Engineering Degree

Professional registration (ECSA)

Minimum 8 years design experience in Bulk Materials Handling equipment

Characteristics

Good organisation and communication skills at all levels

Accuracy and detailed

Ability to co-ordinate and follow up

Ability to work with outsourced organisations

Ability to work independently

Key Performance Indicators

1. Ensure tender related estimates are accurate and competitive

2. Ensure project related engineering is done accurately and according to the related standards and codes.

3. Ensure tender estimates are tracked during the execution phase.

4. Introducing new elements into the design philosophy as and when applicable. (ie keep upto date with new configurations of structural elements)

5. Effective communication with project team and outsourced team to ensure success in execution.
