Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (Pr. Eng) to join their team.
The successful candidate will lead the structural design and delivery of multidisciplinary projects within the industrial, mining, petrochemical and energy sectors.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Qualifications BEng\/BSc Eng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering. Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) (mandatory). Minimum 10-15 years' structural engineering experience, with proven experience in rail infrastructure and substation structures. Experience & Competencies Extensive experience leading structural engineering design on large multidisciplinary projects. Strong background in industrial infrastructure, including mining, petrochemical and energy projects. Proven experience leading structural engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary design activities. Sound knowledge of structural engineering design principles, applicable engineering codes, standards and industry best practices. Proficient in structural analysis and design software. Advanced CAD skills; experience with BIM processes and modelling will be advantageous. Strong client-facing, business development and proposal preparation experience. Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and project management skills. Ability to deliver quality engineering solutions within project budgets and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Lead the structural engineering design and delivery of multidisciplinary projects. Act as the Structural Design Lead on medium to large integrated projects. Manage and mentor structural engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with applicable standards. Review and approve engineering designs, drawings and 3D models. Coordinate structural engineering activities with other engineering disciplines. Provide technical guidance during design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Prepare technical reports, proposals and engineering documentation. Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives. Computer Skills Structural analysis and design software. CAD software. Working knowledge of BIM processes and modelling will be advantageous. Additional Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Valid driver's licence. Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
