Senior Supply Chain Consultant

SUMMARY:
My client is based in the Centurion area and they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Consultant to join their team.  BSc or BEng (industrial engineer) or BCom (Honours) Logistics or similar, is essential for the role as well as previous consulting experience being preferred.  South African citizens only.

POSITION INFO:
As a Senior Consultant your work will cross data, tech and business domains - managing projects, guiding teams and collaborating directly with clients. This role will enable the bringing in of supply chain expertise and strategic thinking into fast moving environments, driving the design and delivery of smart, tech enabled solutions

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagement, project delivery and budget control
• Communicate progress, issues and risks clearly to stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings and workshops and always handle client queries professionally
• Drive stretch objectives, ensuring value delivery
• Adapt plans and processes when required
• Maintain focus and accountability even when challenges arise
• Maximise client value and project success
• Project SME role when required
• Client business development accountability

• Conduct performance reviews, handle HR matter and general team queries
• Communicate clearly and concisely

• Provide best practice, insights and expertise to others
