What You'll Be Doing Designing complex single and multi-cavity injection moulds Developing progression and progressive die tooling solutions Producing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings Conducting DFM reviews, simulations, and validation activities Collaborating closely with the toolroom during tool manufacture and assembly Supporting T1 trials, tool conditioning, and continuous improvement initiatives Managing tooling revisions, documentation, and version control Driving solutions that improve manufacturability, reduce cycle times, and enhance tool longevity What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years' experience designing both injection moulds and metal press tools Proven experience with complex progression press tooling Tool, Jig & Die Making experience Advanced proficiency in Mastercam (2022 or later) Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and\/or Autodesk Fusion Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of tool steels, heat treatment processes, and polymer flow characteristics Thorough knowledge of GD&T principles and manufacturing standards Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement practical design improvements Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills Advantageous Experience Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards Familiarity with HASCO, DME, MISUMI, and other standard tooling components Exposure to CNC machining, wire cutting, EDM, and conventional toolroom practices Why This Opportunity?
