With over 7 decades of experience in manufacturing they are one of the leading automotive tool, die and jig producers in South Africa.  They produce a range of components for various manufacturing companies.  They are currently expanding further into international markets and has a vacancy available for an experienced Tool, Jig and Die maker.  If you have experience with press tooling in the automotive industry, Mastercam and Autocad, available to work in Pretoria and is eager to take up a new challenge please register your CV today.

Education:

• Toolmaker Trade Certificate
• Grade 12 / N3
• Mastercam & AutoCAd

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 10 years’ experience as a Toolmaker in the Automotive industry.
• Press Tooling experience
• Repair and maintain press tools, die repairs
• Routine servicing and regrinding of tools
• Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production
• Evaluate each job and determine if it can be repaired in press or must be removed to Tool Room for essential maintenance and repair work
• Estimate   length   of   time   required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescale
• Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
• Report   breakdown   root   causes, equipment   faults   and   concerns   to management
