SUMMARY:
Our client in the legal space is looking to hire an experienced Senior Transfers Secretary. The professional to be appointed must have the ability to register the transfer of ownership of securities and know the processes and functions from receipt of instructions to finalization. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have a minimum of +5 years’ experience in Senior Transfers Secretary.
  • Must be computer literate (Ghost Convey Advantageous and E4)
  • Must have experience with all aspects of transfers.

Duties include:

  • Solid recent Conveyancing Secretary experiencing in attending to transfers at a law firm a must (Senior Level)
  • Fully independently function (from receipt of an instruction to finalization)
  • Able to handle volumes of matters.
  • Handling of transfers from receipt of inception to finalization of the matter
  • Client liaison.
  • Continuous reporting to clients.
  • Attending to finances on all transactions.
  • General conveyancing secretarial duties.
  • Receiving instructions from developers, clients, and estate agents to attend to the registration of transfers.
  • Preparing various conveyancing and related documents independently.
  • Contacting and liaising with clients, local authorities, estate agents, SARS, managing agents, banks, and attorneys.
  • Attending to the collection of costs from clients.
  • Attending to issuing and payments of guarantees.
  • Compiling and preparing of documents for lodgement and registration.
  • Filing, faxing, photocopying and general office duties.
  • Typing of letters, e-mails, and faxes independently.
  • Taking messages.
  • Attending to the Deeds Office process to successfully register transactions.
  • Attending to all financial aspects of all transactions, including final accounts.
  • Preparing debit notes, credit notes, and other accounting queries.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification – LLB Degree
