POSITION INFO:
The Role:

Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer.

12 month contract- must be available immediately

The successful candidate will take the lead role in the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) and work with latest technology and trends, which mainly include topics like Cloud and Edge computing.

• IT Degree or relevant experience
• 6+ years experience using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Proficiency in UI Frameworks (Angular - Version 9 or higher and 2D Rendering frameworks

 

 

Skills and Experience:

• Sound knowledge in UI/UX process and familiar with user centered design approach
• Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum experience
• Experience with gamification in the workplace
• Fit for business purpose - good mind-set i.e the solutions, must meet the business goals
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Mobile Applications experience (advantageous) 
• Testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, Postman, Selenium(advantageous)
• Jira and Confluence experience (advantageous)

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

• Consulting with clients to understand their goals and explaining research results
• Conducting usability testing
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
• Creating product prototypes
• Developing personas and usage scenarios
• Analyzing user feedback and activity
• Assisting with frontend development
• Contribute to refinement or user stories e.g. develop wireframes or other UI/UX input
• Take part in regular Scrum meetings via Skype, Daily Planning
• Estimation, Refinement, Review, Retro
• Liaise with stakeholders and team members
• Present results to stakeholders
