SUMMARY:
Our client in the Financial Sector, has an EE opportunity available for a Senior Underwriter, based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Degree in Commerce
Postgraduate Qualification would be ideal
Regulatory Exams for Key Individuals (RE 1) would be ideal
5 year experience in short term insurance
Insurance Accounting experience - 3 years
Good understanding of Underwriting Management Agencies (Binder holders) - 2 years experience
Reinsurance experience - 2 years
Understanding of underwriting principles
Understanding of insurance accounting principles
Knowledge of Solvency Assessment Management
Knowledge of the Short-Term and Long-Term insurance Acts
Knowledge of Underwriting Management Agencies
Knowledge of PFMA

KPAs:

Reinsurance Management and Reporting
Portfolio Management of Crop and Asset Business
Underwriting functions for the Life Insurance business
Compiles policies and procedures
