SUMMARY:
My client, based in Johannesburg North, is urgently seeking a Senior Web Application Tester to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Degree or Diploma preferred
ISTQB Certification
Manual and automation experience
Strong understanding ofÂ browsers, web technologies, and debugging tools
Hands-on experience withÂ test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright)
ExperienceÂ configuring QA/pre-production environments and managing test data
Working knowledge ofÂ API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) andÂ database validationÂ (SQL)
Familiarity withÂ CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps)
Ability to analyse logs, debug issues, and supportÂ test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD)
Comfortable working in anÂ Agile/DevOps framework, collaborating across multiple teams
Experience withÂ performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, and OWASP ZAP)
Strong communication skills to liaise withÂ cross-functional teams, includingÂ operations, call centres, and external service providers
