Senior Welder

SUMMARY:

My client a well-established engineering company, focusing in the packaging industry is seeking to employ a qualified mid to senior level coded Welder to join their team, you will be a Stainless and Mild Steel welder for pipe work and machines. The company is based in the Northern Suburbs. We are looking for an artist in welding!

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Be able to weld with variety of machines (TIG/MIG/MMA etc)
• Be able to read P&ID drawings.
• Assembly instructions and technical drawings.
• Ability to neatly cut/drill/grind/weld/form stainless steel assemblies.
• Use the appropriate tools correctly.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant welding qualification and up to level 3 welding experience.
• Must be fit and healthy.
• Can work in confined spaces and heights.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally.
