Senior Winemakers / Production Managers - Boland Region

Winemaker duties typically include:

• Production of high-quality wines
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the production process
• Quality and stock control
• Purchasing of chemicals and other production stock items
• Maintenance and housekeeping
• External liaison and wine tastings
• Personnel management
• Wine administration

Requirements:

• A passion for wine
• A degree / diploma in Viticulture and Oenology
• More than 5 years ’experience as a winemaker in a large production cellar
• Proven skills and experience in production management and quality control
• Technical aptitude and working knowledge of winemaking machinery and equipment
• Familiar with ethical, production and quality control systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
• Ability to perform well in both team context and individually
