POSITION INFO:
A well-established company in the engineering and mining sector is seeking a driven, technically strong Senior Accountant to take charge of key financial and reporting functions. This role is ideal for a mature professional who enjoys working in a structured, fast-paced environment where accuracy, leadership, and strategic contribution are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Full financial function oversight
Monthly reporting, including management accounts
Budgeting, forecasting & analysis
People management: managing direct reports
Implementing, monitoring & improving internal controls
Ensuring financial accuracy & compliance
Working with operational teams to support strategic decision-making
Exposure to engineering and mining industry environments is beneficial

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualification: BCom + SAIPA preferred
Experience: 3 years post-articles essential
Industry: Engineering & Mining preferred
Technical: Strong reporting, budgeting, forecasting & compliance experience
Profile: Confident, detail-focused, and able to manage a team effectively
