We are expanding our design team and seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemical Process Design Engineer to join our dynamic and growing organization.

Role Overview

As a Senior Chemical Process Design Engineer, you will lead the conceptual and detailed design of chemical processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications, from feasibility studies through to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of process designs, calculations, and documentation.
Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and process datasheets.
Specify and size process equipment such as reactors, heat exchangers, separators, and distillation columns.
Conduct process simulations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA, SIL).
Support project estimation, proposal preparation, and client technical meetings.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in process design best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of experience in process design and engineering, preferably within the [specific sector, e.g., oil & gas, petrochemical, or renewable energy] industry.
Strong knowledge of process simulation and engineering software (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in FEED, detailed design, and EPC project phases.
Excellent understanding of relevant international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
