JOB SUMMARY:
Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Objectives

Develop high-quality software design and architecture
Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Review and debug code
Perform validation and verification testing, as well as automated unit tests
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Participate / contribute to technical planning sessions

Job Skills

Demonstrable experience as a senior software engineer
Experience in Agile Environments
Experience in technical planning
Experience in Jira, Confluence and code Repositories
Using a tool such ass phpMyAdmin to interact with a DB

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
BSC IT Degree or similar
5yrs + software engineer experience in any well-known software environment.
