Separation Plant Manager ( Mining/Engineering), Kempton Park, Rneg + ben

Mechanical Engineering Degree (or similar technical qualification)
Minimum of 7 years Engineering experience in similar environment
Knowledge and experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, ERP, MS Office, DEM, Structural/Plant design software
Valid Drivers licence
Own Transport
Excellent technical knowledge
Good commercial awareness
Good communication and presentation skills
Good report writing skills
Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas High level of organizational skills
Good team-working skills
A high level of computer literacy
The ability to prioritize and plan effectively Self-motivated
Adaptability
Stress management Technical aptitude

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Engineering Design - Plant design, including:

- Plant layouts

- Materials handling systems (conveyors, stockpiles, chutes)

- Structural design (Mechanical & Civil)

- Mechanical plant design

- Plant control systems

- Requirement/Functional analysis

- Equipment selection and applications engineering

- System Specification (Type A)

- Conduct design reviews

- Item master and plant BOMs

- Configuration management

- Plant documentation

- Operational and maintenance requirements

- Life cycle costing

b) Engineering Management

- Manage engineering processes (ECP’s, drawing requests, QIR’s etc.)

- Administer the engineering system (Network data, machine register, manuals, IPC’s, parts lists for plant equipment etc.)

- Assist in ensuring drawings and QRLs are accurate and drawn to CLIENT’S requirements

c) Quality

- ISO 2015 standards

- CLIENT Engineering’s procedures

- OHS Act, MHS Act of SA

- Component tracking and control, accurate drawing and technical data
