SUMMARY:
Umhlanga - Skilled Service Advisor required to join a customer-focused team in a fast-paced automotive environment for a reputable dealership in Umhlanga.

As the Service Advisor you’ll ensure smooth communication between customers and technicians, accurate job bookings, and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and manage service bookings
Accurately record customer concerns and vehicle symptoms
Provide detailed job estimates and secure customer approvals
Open and manage job cards efficiently
Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure timely completion of work
Keep customers informed on job status and any additional work required
Conduct final quality checks and arrange vehicle delivery
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
Promote additional services where appropriate
Ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection
Maintain comprehensive service records and reports
Uphold dealership standards for customer satisfaction
Assist with follow-ups and service reminders
Continuous monitoring and clearing of WIP, Debtors and ageing parts

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership environment
Working knowledge of vehicle servicing procedures
Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, or similar)
Matric (Grade 12)
Valid driver’s license

Remuneration
Basic salary R18 000 - R25 000 (Depending on experience)
