This role requires a candidate with strong technical understanding of maintenance operations , combined with excellent customer service and workshop coordination skills. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between customers, workshop technicians, and parts departments , ensuring vehicles are diagnosed, repaired and returned to service efficiently within operational timelines. Proven track record and experience working with a diverse cross section of fleet and LMV, MMV and\/or HMV (Light, Medium & Heavy Motor vehicles) will be highly advantageous. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing vehicles in for servicing, repairs, and inspections Open and manage job cards for all service and repair work Conduct initial vehicle assessments and accurately record reported faults Coordinate communication between customers, workshop technicians, and parts departments Provide repair estimates, service recommendations, and cost explanations to clients Monitor workshop job progress and ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timelines Maintain accurate documentation of service history, repairs and parts usage Ensure all warranty claims and service procedures are completed according to manufacturer standards Follow up with customers regarding repairs, service updates and vehicle collection Assist with workshop scheduling to optimise technician productivity and workflow Maintain strong relationships with fleet clients and commercial vehicle operators EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Grade 12 (Matric) Minimum 5 years' experience as a Service Advisor within an LMV, MMV or HMV workshop environment (req.)
