Service Desk and Operations Manager

SUMMARY:
Seeking an IT Service Desk & Operations Manager within ITSM as defined by ITIL, who will be responsible for IT support for users, and be in charge of the RUN domain of the MIS department but may be asked to assist the Build team when required.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and assign tasks to the team
• Manage IT hardware resources
• Ensure ITIL MIS support processes
• Single point of contact for helpdesk, ITSM ticketing, troubleshooting, logs analyse, reporting, and centre on monitoring
• Ensure production follow-up
• Ensure data & systems backups
• Manage IT infrastructure related contracts and SLA
• Apply the organisation's security and licensing policies
• IT hardware resource management
• IT Service Desk management
• Infrastructure management

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 10-15 years relevant IT experience
• ITIL foundations certified
• Knowledge in network / telecom (Fortigates Certifications)
• Knowledge in VMWare virtualisation technology environment
