A reputable multi-dealership in Polokwane is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Foreman to lead and manage its workshop operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a professional with strong technical knowledge, team management experience, and a focus on service excellence.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all workshop activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to service schedules
• Lead, coach, and mentor technicians and service staff to optimise performance and productivity
• Monitor job quality, timelines, and adherence to safety standards
• Ensure effective allocation of work, prioritisation of tasks, and timely completion of repairs and maintenance
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service delivery
• Implement and enforce workshop procedures, compliance, and operational standards
• Manage spare parts usage and inventory in collaboration with parts department
• Oversee service reporting, KPI tracking, and daily operational updates
• Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve service-related issues promptly
• Collaborate with dealership management to improve workshop efficiency, profitability, and service offerings

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Foreman or Workshop Supervisor in a multi-brand or dealership environment
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills
• Valid driver’s license
